MBJob Scam Campaign Misusing BGD e-GOV CIRT’s Name

Cyber Threat Intelligence Unit of BGD e-GOV CIRT, BCC has identified widespread fraudulent financial activities being conducted through the platforms MBJob, MBJOB[.]CC (https[:]//mbjob[.]cc/), and associated mobile apps/ social platforms/ messenger platforms.
Multiple reports confirm that scammers are operating through Facebook groups, WhatsApp groups, Online Application, foreign phone numbers, and Bangladeshi mobile financial service numbers, demanding money under the pretext of:
- Account activation fees
- Withdrawal processing charges
- Verification fees
- Other fabricated service fees
These actors are falsely claiming affiliation with BGD e-GOV CIRT, BCC alleging that CIRT is “monitoring,” “supervising,” or “supporting” MBJob’s financial operations — all such claims are entirely false and malicious.
BGD e-GOV CIRT does NOT:
- Engage in any financial transactions
- Authorize any organization to collect money on its behalf
- Verify or validate private earning platforms
- Request payment from citizens for any cybersecurity-related service
Any request for money using BGD e-GOV CIRT’s name is fraudulent.
