Microsoft Releases Patch for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Systems

Description: Microsoft has released security updates to address a vulnerability in Windows 7 x64 and Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 systems.
Impact: A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to take control of an affected system.
Mitigation: Apply an update. This issue is addressed in the Microsoft update for CVE-2018-1038. Please see the references or vendor advisory for more information.
